Use a Regulated 12V Power Supply
The S1 requires a regulated 12V power supply delivering no more than 2 amps.
The first time you charge your battery please leave it switched on, that will allow it to learn it's capacity.
Your S1 is supplied with a 12V charger. It has a cigarette plug on the power supply end. You can either use the plug or cut it off to hardwire to your power supply. If you cut the cigarette plug off please install the supplied fuse to protect from reverse polarity. Your charger may also have a fuse inline already depending on when your S1 was delivered.
The power supply to the toilet from your van should have a fuse in it regardless. Please ensure it is no more than a 5 amp fuse.
Do not connect the S1 charging lead directly to a 12V battery without a charger. A battery can supply more than 12.6V, which is outside the required charging parameters and may affect safe and reliable charging of the S1 battery.
If you use another power supply, please make sure it provides a regulated 12V output, does not exceed 12.6V and supplies no more than 2 amps and is fused with a 5 amp fuse.
